Electronics & Communication Engineering

The Department of ECE, accredited by National Board of Accreditation has seen a considerable growth since its inception in the year 1998. The well qualified faculty and courses of this department aid to prepare students for careers as professional engineers through an education in fundamental principles as well as in the context of real application and design environment. Project work throughout the course adheres to the necessity of a combination of practical and theoretical skills and abilities. Electronics & Communication Engg. department started with an intake of 40 students which has increased to 120 owing to well qualified Faculty, Excellent Laboratories, Seminar Hall and Library facilities. The department introduced an M.Tech programme in ECE in the year 2009 with an intake of 18 student. Electronics Deptt. the department laid mile stone by introducing another M.Tech Course (Evening Shift) in 2010 & B.Tech course (Evening Shift) in 2011 in Electronics & Communication Engg. with a further intake of 18 students and 60 students respectively. The Department is successfully functioning under the guidance of Dr. Davinder Parkash Chechi, Head of Department.
